🌱 4 circles to quiet overthinking

Action = information. The circle of "good enough".

Loved this post on action producing information.

Remind myself of this anytime I’m feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

â• The Circle of Enough

After college, I started reading all the “best” business and personal development books I could find.

One of my all-time favs and most impactful was 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.

The first time I learned Covey’s 3 circles — control, influence, concern — it changed how I looked at the world and narrowed my focus.

But over time, I’ve noticed there’s actually a 4th inner circle that matters just as much: the circle of enough.

It’s the moment you stop waiting for perfect conditions and start moving with what you already have.

Most of the time I’m stuck, it’s not because I don’t know what to do.

It’s because I’m waiting to feel ready. Or wanting conditions to be perfect.

But waiting for perfect conditions is just another form of procrastination.

What always helps: doing one small thing that moves life forward by even 1%.

Small progress beats perfect conditions every time.
