🌱 I’m obsessed with this Q1 one-pager (template)

Google doc toggle feature. Best 2025 one-pager. Dry January.

Here are your 3 insights in 3 minutes.

This is a special one because I spent literally 10+ hours reviewing my own systems and created a simple one-pager I LOVE in Google Docs (Q1 One-Pager below).

Let’s get it!

🙏 Google Doc Toggles

As much as I love testing new productivity tools/systems…

I almost always go back to a SIMPLE Google doc.

Especially now with the new collapsable toggles feature.

My one-pager template (more below)

Here’s how to turn your Google Docs into a beautiful “zen like experience” which I now have customized as my default doc type, background color, and font.

But if nothing else, you can just change the page setup:

  • File > Page Setup > Select the tab labeled Pageless

  • File > Page Setup > Background color (add this color: FFFCF2)

Look, I get it.

Year-end is exhilarating, “New year, new me!”

Until Q2 comes around and everything goes out the window. :(

That’s why I LOVE a quarterly system.

My 2025 OKR Template (aka BOPs!)

The OKR framework is a famous goal-setting framework designed for adaptability.

One sentence overview: “I will (objective) as measured by (key result).”

But here’s how I define OKRs and toggles to break big objectives into clear tasks.

  • Objective = thing I really want and feel an emotional connection toward

  • Key Result = specific action or milestone aligned toward the objective

  • Initiative = smaller items that are aligned, but also more flexible to change

For example, here’s my first objective for Q1:

One of my Q1 Objectives

But before creating objectives, it’s important to first ask WHY?

Here’s mine:

Note: this obvi can/will change, but helpful to set the direction

Finally, the “[Month] Weekly” section is the glue that keeps everything together.

Aligned actions each week toward your OKRs

Everyone else drops off here and their annual goals go down the drain…

But not you, since you’ve adopted a system!

Just a few minutes at the end of each week makes a HUGE difference in feeling organized (instead of behind).

  • What did you get done this week?

  • What are the top 3-5 items for next week?

Not enough time one week? That’s okay, it happens!

That’s the beauty of the system — it’s designed for you to hop right back on track if when you fall off.

📵 New “Dry” January

These numbers are bonkers.

The average person spends 2+ hours a day scrolling social media on their phone. That's 62 hours or 2.5 days of your life in January alone!

So I decided to do “dry feeds” January and deleted IG, x, and linkedin from my phone (took 3 seconds).

In other words, I traded 3 seconds for 62 hours. (Name a better ROI!)

The new dry January is dry feeds.
