🧠Brain Coach
Last weekend I did a 3-day immersion speed-learning Spanish course here in Playa. The instructor Phil is a brain coach and hacks language learning.
It was 6 hours a day, but here’s the thing. It wasn’t hard, it was fun.
Before we poured our coffees the first day, Phil opened up saying, “oh btw, this morning I memorized all your names, birthdays, and phone numbers.” And went around the circle reciting each for the 12 of us. It was amazing.
He combines storytelling, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and associations to cement Spanish into our brains. (ex: poner sounds like boner… which is now tattooed in my brain)
Our monkey brains like to think learning is hard and boring…
But what if it was effortless and fun?
I’m going through his online course now as well.
