Some golden nuggets for you

Your time is precious.

Each week I gather my favorite nuggets and test them out.

Asking for each, “Is this worthy enough for the newsletter homies?!”

Most often, that answer is nah.

So I keep diggin’ until the answer is hell yeah.

This week’s new segment is called “Golden Nuggets” — to give you more time and happiness.

  1. Library Extension - find free versions of books (via library or digital version)

  2. Put dryer sheets everywhere! (I keep in athletic shoes, luggage, bottom of trash cans)

  3. Unroll.me to unsubscribe from emails (except this one of course)

  4. Hold down space bar on iPhone when typing to move the cursor

  5. Video Speed Controller Chrome extension to speed up videos

My friend Allison (also a newsletter reader, hi Allison!), invited me to hang with her middle school class this week.

She’s teaching a “Happiness Week” (where was this when I was in 7th grade?!). And asked me to chat about goal setting.

So I embraced my inner Owen Wilson (greatest classroom speech ever) and got to work.

The rundown: breathwork, emotion-setting exercise, then walked through this Happiness Goal Tracker I made them.

Real talk, was blown away by how mature and level-headed these kids were. So fun!

💪 Weekly Challenge: New Experience

Last week, I'd never taught a 7th-grade zoom class.

This week, I’ve never taken a hip-hop dance class… but just signed up. 🕺

What’s something new you’ll do? (hit reply and let me know)

Stay loose, stay liquid, laugh a lot.
